When I reply, can I make my reply appear above the basic message?
My recipients prefer to see my reply above their message. Is there a preference or setting that can do that?
(They prefer this because it is the way my Apple Mail works.)

Firefox doesn't do email, it's a web browser.
If you are using Firefox to access web mail, you need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.
If your problem is with Thunderbird, see this forum for support.
