Taskbar has disappeared!!

For only the past 2 or 3 days when I open Firefox, there is NO taskbar shown at the bottom of the page. It's just disappeared and I haven't changed a thing! I checked the settings in windows and it's set to permanently show the taskbar. Why all of a sudden the change and how do I get it to restore on Firefox. This is NOT happening with other browsers I'm using!! This is beyond frustrating. I don't understand why things change from day to day without my intervention.

Hi, make sure you are not running Firefox in full screen mode (press F11 or FN+F11 to toggle; Mac: command+Shift+F). If you are in full-screen mode, then hover your mouse over the top so that the navigation toolbar and tab bar appear. Press F11 or FN+F11 on your keyboard to "exit full screen mode".
