Hi, I recently setup a new computer and had to reset my firefox account password to login for sync.

everything worked fine, that was last week.

I just setup another computer and had to repeat the password reset process. I am now logged into my firefox account however it's not syncing? will there be some kind of security delay because I reset my password multiple times recently? I really need my saved logins.

any help would be appreciated, thanks

There was no need to change/reset the sync password.

Resetting the sync password, or changing its e-mail will remove all data from the servers. The username and password are used to create the encryption.

Note: Only the data on the servers is cleared. The profile data is not changed or removed.


Make sure both systems/profiles are logged into the sync account.

Type https://accounts.firefox.com/settings<enter> in the address bar.
