difficult to post questions in the forum

I find the use of the forum non-intuitive and difficult. I log in and go here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/thunderbird At this point you can see questions sorted in various way and I can see all my prior questions (unfortunately some I know I have posted are not there). There are two problems (maybe user error?) that I have on this page. 1. You can't search it by words or phrases. All you can do is sort, filter, etc. What is there not a search all questions option? 2. This seems like the natural page to post new questions. I keep looking for a "post new question option." Instead you have to go here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/new/thunderbird It would seem easier to post a new question from the place you already are searching out existing questions.

I am curious to hear feedback.

In particular, I posted a question about a year ago about a Thunderbird lockup problem I was having. The responses I got were not helpful, but a few months later I realized the solution to my issue and I wanted to reply and share with others. But I have no way to search for that question, which for some reason does not come up under "questions you have posted."

The forum search option is far less effective than using your favorite search engine and entering this:

site:https://support.mozilla.org/ thunderbird

and then your specific issue, e.g. cannot see remote images

This allows filtering by time, such as past day, past week, past year etc.
