I know i already had some tech help here but nothing sticks (nothing remains after a restart) History is not even kept for 24 hours (settings are correct at "remember history") not option avail for 2 days or more appear. I left my computer hibernating a cple times and found all tabs open gone as well as traces in history gone (It had not been 24 hours...) session restore no longer appears when Iog in and it is greyed out in history of course. How can firefox lose history in only about 12 hours an+d while the computer is hibernating? I had it hibernating and turned back on yesterday and everything was fine but a day later all is gone I uninstalled firefox and re-installed it a few days ago. THAT fixes problems and I can look up 2 days of history (not more) and session restore appears on the screen when I start my computer but the next day all is gone. A Tech support suggested creating a new profile and importing my data but this is way too complicated for me and I got lost quickly. + i had no idea how to import data from the old profile. In the middle of the procedure what I was told to expect to see was not even there so this is not an option for me. I have been told to wait until incompatibility and glitches between firefox and windows 10 (a horrible software I was FORCED to get w this new computer) get resolved. Is that the best we can hope?

going to --. about:support and opening the profile folder then erasing session restore files or changing their names fixes the problem btw but only for that day!

Did you try to close and restart Firefox and reboot the computer in case there is a problem with accessing files?

yes I did. This has been going on for over 3 weeks (I got my computer set up around the 10th) should I see 2day and 1 week in my history bar? It seems to me I had that before and only today is avail now
