For about 6 months now, my printers have been disappearing and reappearing at random...or so I thought. However, today, I left my Printer window opened while the printers were "Connected". I then proceeded to open the programs I regularly use: First Word. Nothing. Then Acrobat. Nothing. Then Chrome, still nothing. Then Thunderbird...Bam! Printers Disconnected. I said, let me try this again, and again, and again. Each time...same result. When launching Thunderbird...within 5 secs, the printers disconnect. It's the craziest thing I've ever seen. Anyone out there looking for a fun challenge? I've never seen this happen before and would love a resolution. Oh, and before it's suggested: I already checked the PrintSpooler service...connected or disconnected, it's status reads: "Running" in Task Manager.

Windows 10 (64bit), Thunderbird 128.7.0esr (32-Bit)
Without warning this has suddenly started happening. Maybe after the latest update? I can get the blessed Trash folder back in TB by 1. closing TB 2. (The Trash file is missing in Local Folders, the Trash.msf file seems okay)
manually creating a new "Trash" file in my profile (a text file without suffix).
3. restarting TB
The Trash does not disappear if it contains something when TB is closed.
I tried excluding the Trash in Windows Defender, but that has no effect.

Hello, when I'm on a web site and choose to contact them, I click on their email. Instead of opening Thunderbird opening I get the annoying pop up that wants me to sign in and open the new Outlook. I do not use Outlook. I do not want to use Outlook. What do I need to do to simply have my Thunderbird open and completely ignore the Outlook? Thank you,

ThunderBird for Linux crashes down automatically every 5 minutes since the last update. Every time I log into my account, about 5 minutes later, I see from the monitoring terminal that ThunderBird's temporary memory usage suddenly soars to over 90%, and then the entire program becomes unresponsive and must be closed and logged in again. But after that, this situation keeps repeating, and it is impossible to use it. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I'm on Thunderbird (128.6.0esr (64-bit)) on Fedora/GNOME. I've noticed, that whenever I launch Thunderbird, it takes several minutes (!) where it says "Connecting to mail.myserver.com" in status. I'm using my own postfix/dovecot server with imap and I don't have this problem on Thunderbird Windows for instance, where it connects right away on startup. After the initial slow connection, it works just fine, when I manually trigger to scan for new messages (instantly). I tried literally any option within Thunderbird to fix that, without any success. It seems to be some trouble with resolving / dns or probably ip6/ip4, but then again, why would it work normally after the long connection time in the beginning? Any clue what might be the problem here?

Dear Team After Updating from 102.15.1 (32Bit) to 115.28.0 (32Bit) I can not connect to the provider "pop.hispeed.ch" anymore. Ping pop.hispeed.ch (on CMD) shows normal raction of beeing reachable with a "reply from xxxx.". I am on Windows 7 SP1. I have checked several times all setting POP and SMTP, switched off Firewall, uninstalled virus scanner, and and and many more (all knowledge found on internet..). Pressing the "Get Message" button in the upper menue bar shows no raction when pressed. The icon "Get Message" on the left side of the button "+ New Message" results in a none moving blue status bar at the right bottom of the window. After a while with the message "timed out.. ".In the settings "Config Editor.." the values of "mailnews.tcptimeout" are set to "300", and "true". I am using TB since donkey years with many many eMails. Are the lost? Thank you for support and help, Andy
