Firefox for iOS Community Forum

I think I recently updated Firefox on my MacBook macOSSequoia 15.7.7. Around the same time, I downloaded the recent update for Sequoia. I don't recall which occurred first. Since then, I am unable to log into accounts & if I can, I can't use all the features. Today I can't get into my bank at all (yesterday I could use Bill Pay, though not Zelle, couldn't see recent transactions, either). I received a message about Trouble loading a widget. I don't even know what a widget is. I tried switching to Safari and there are many problems with that as my password manager, 1Password isn't enough for them. I have to choose from the squares whatever they are asking for & that is difficult bc it's too small to see everything. I feel as if my laptop has been rendered useless. Maybe I should call Apple Care or will they only work with Safari? I have been using Mozilla's Firefox for so many yrs I don't like to have to change everything. I've played around with privacy & security to make things less secure & that doesn't work, either. Thanks for any help.

Anyone know what is happening? In the past month or so trying to view websites on iPhone, even on Firefox has become impossible.

The number and size of ads has metastasized to the point they block out all content. Is this a new trend? Is it my settings?

Who is responsible for this shift — the website ad settings or the browsers? Is it Google further breaking the internet?

For the neurodiverse, it’s an accessibility issue as well as a dystopian nightmare.

Please tell me there’s a way to fight this apart from permanent reader mode. This has vastly reduced our use of the internet. Each site feels like a trap and a scam.

The ads cause anxiety as well as irritation and general thwartedness as I cannot reach the content! What are these people/bots thinking?

when I use Firefox continuously for a long time..., it’s it’s continuously become freeze and kick me out ....I need a solution of this...as soon as possible. .And i also need the group folder create feature like chrome

I used to be able to use NEVER REMEMBER HISTORY and still play my games but now I have to switch to REMEMBER HISTORY and unclick cookies in order to play two of my games, June's Journey and Word Whomp in Pogo. This occurred since the newest update. Why is this?

When I’m on a screen that asks for my email address, it shows me two addresses to pick from, and I don’t use either one. I’ve searched everywhere, and can’t find where it’s getting these email addresses from. How can I change this?

When I use “generate a strong password”, it isn’t automatically saved and no prompt asking if I want to save the password appears, effectively making me lose the password unless I save it elsewhere and add it manually. I have noticed this on my iPad pro, but I am unsure if it also happens with my other devices. This happens in non private tabs, I do not know if it does in private tabs.

Using Firefox on our Mac and Iphones. For some reason, when I go to view the bookmark list, it is duplicated.

The main list is as expected, A,B,C, etc. At the bottom of the list it starts again with the same folders and bookmarks. This shows up on both devices. If I delete one folder, it deletes both folders from all lists and devices.

Not sure how to fix this

I absolutely do not want "perplexity" anywhere near my Firefox IOS environment. I don't like it, and further dislike "perplexity" inserting itself to my browser experience. I consider "perplexity" a nuisense and an obstacle to my search habits. I have followed a removal process by logging into my "perplexity" account under Settings, and requesting Delete with no success, "perplexity" remains.

Please share with me how to rid "perplexity" my Firefox browser experience!
