Hi, I work in a technical profession where we have large amounts of GUI-configurable equipment. Firefox was my go-to browser to configure and maintain this equipment. Up until today, when version 140 installed unexpectedly. There is no https in this equipment, no certificates, no certificate server, no DNS. Just a LAN cable, peer to peer, to use the browser as a GUI to manage the equipment. There is no need for high level security either, since there is no internet. Now how do I do this? In previous versions of Firefox it was possible to override the security warning and proceed anyway, which is what we did. Now we don't get the option to override, and it does not appear there is any way to change this behavior in the settings. This heavy handed nanny stuff does not sit well with me and it has made Firefox 140 essentially useless for my purposes. I've rolled back to a previous version of Firefox for now.
