I installed Firefox yesterday, and everything was fine for a day. Today, when I play a YouTube video, the entire page freezes - I can't pause it, select text, or do anything. The page starts responding after about 10 seconds from last interaction.

Compared to Chrome, I can play 20 YouTube videos at once and everything works fine.

The problem only occurs on YouTube. Sites like CDA and Jellyfin work fine.

I have finished my setup. But it keeps saying "finish setup" in the upper right corner of the browser. I have completed all the steps. I want to sync this desktop to my mozilla account. What do I do?

Every time I accidentally close Firefox I lose all my saved groups on reopening. I can see they are still there but cannot see how to open them. They are such a great innovation. Please make it easier to restore them from previous sessions. Going through a search history and restoring them one by one is hugely time consuming when they are already there and just inaccessible. btw, I tried using scrounger (via troubleshooting) but the "Save List" is greyed out.

I downloaded an update for Firefox email on my PC and ever since when I try to access my email, I just get a blank page. I still get my email on my cell phone and kindle.

yesterdays settings were upgraded. This firefox upgrade completely messed up my desktop computer -can not access many sites as before. Want to go back to the last upgrade

All my Firefox bookmarks are GONE. I followed the directions for restoration, and the Restore (etc) window has nothing in it. I saved the bookmarks to a JSON (HTML) file on an external hard drive, but I cannot find a way to restore them. I'm just about tired of Firefox and the consistent problems. Please restore my faith. After last update 3/26/26 I have lost all my bookmarks and my tab bar most used and cannot recover. I pulled up some steps and still cannot recover. When you get ready to make a drastic change like this why dont you get a notice that this type of information will be changing. I need to recover these asap.

when I right-click a highlighted word in Firefox browser - to 'Search Google for...', it takes me to Yahoo.com instead, although Google is defined as 'Default Search Engine'. Why? How to fix it to Google search?

When right-clicking on the Firefox icon in the Windows task bar one has the option to "pin" items by hovering over an entry in the "frequent" list and clicking on the little pin needle icon (with the hover text "Pin to this list").

How can I pin items that are not in the frequent list? I have tried for weeks to make an important page a frequent one by making sure to visit it daily but it never makes it to the list.

I understand the VPN feature in firefox is a proxy and not a VPN. VPNs are often secured using OpenVPN & Wireguard, whereas proxies are often secured using only HTTPS. How is traffic through the firefox proxy secured? Is it end-to-end? Thank you.
