i tried everything in setting , nothing works these suggested shortcuts automatically attached to my home page i did deselect this feature in setting but still they pop up on my home page and the other problem is i am not able to search in my web search section on the home page what is that so ? why this isnt fixed yet ?

Firefox 146.0.1 (aarch64) macOS 26.2 (25C56) on M2 Pro

Hello.

I'm dealing with a strange issue that began with Firefox 146.0 and continues with 146.0.1. I previously blocked categories I do not care about such as Parenting, Cooking, and others. When doing so, for some reason some of my followed topics including Sports, NFL and NHL no longer appear along with the rest of the topics I've followed. (Please notice only followed sports-related topics disappeared...)

Checking the settings for Firefox Home shows no blocked topics (even those I have explicitly blocked), and checking what I can think to think via about:config shows me nothing I can edit to get my desired topics back.

So, I'm not sure what to edit to get my missing topics back. If they were blocked because of some bug, i cannot see blocked topics in the Firefox Home settings, so I cannot unblock them if that's what would need to be done. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to resolve it or are you aware of some BugZilla or GitHub issue I can watch for this one?

Any help will be certainly be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

when I start the browser, alongside homepage, it opens a new unknown page (which I've never searched and opened myself before) with extremely obscene content. for example https://playafterdark.com/click? thanks god, my children haven't seen it yet how is it possible?

Last night I decided I'd get rid of the little triangle on my id icon telling me my account is disconnected. I succeeded getting rid of it, but it screwed up my url for my homepage. Now when I try to set my homepage (c:/Users/mnose/Pictures/Pictures/Kidz/Photo-0002.jpg) I get this message: file:///c:/Users/mnose/Pictures/Pictures/Kidz/Photo-0002.jpg " The address wasn’t understood

Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (cfile) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context."

How do I get rid of this, and how do I set up my homepage? It's been set the same way for over 10 years until last night. It's very frustrating that there's no explanation.

Everytime i open mozilla, its just gives me the blank page. i go to the settings and change it but when i close mozilla and open it again it gives me blank page. i cant understand the problem.

My Hoepage is set to Firefox. In the center of that page is a Search box which I used always. Now when I try to type in it, my cursor shoots up to the top to the ADDRESS bar. I do NOT want to SEARCH from the address bar. I want to search in the Firefox search box. I also have Duckduckgo set up in that search bar. After the last 2 Firefox updates, I can no longer type my search in that box, but can ONLY search in the ADDRESS bar. Please help be restore the use of the Firefox Search box.

Normally Firefox sponsor ads on home page occasionally inserts an new ad. I will support some occasional ads by clicking on the new ad to give Firefox 'click credit' then deleting new ad. Today when I delete the new ad another pops up 10-15 times an will not stop. That is too much. I do voluntarily support Firefox with monthly donation.

How do I stop the constantly returning ads?

With the old FIREFOX Start/home page I could have up to 4 lines of bookmarks showing on my start up/home page, but now there are only 8 showing. Can I add more, and if so how? Thanks
