I just thought you might like to know that because you keep posting biased fake Leftist news from CNN, AP, PBS, NPR, Axios, The Guardian, Washington Post, NY Times, etc., on my Firefox home page, I have BLOCKED all your content. I kept dismissing the CNN, etc. content but you kept right on sending it back.

I have been using this site for a very long time, but, since lastnight (Tuesday January 27, 2026) everything is different. My Theme was gone, the sites I visit were not responding. Am I supposed to set up this page each time I want to use Mozilla? If this is the new normal, then I will not be here long.

Recently when starting the browser I've seen that Microsoft Defender blocks requests to one of my homepage shortcuts, due to it finding the URL suspicious. My question is as the title suggests: does Firefox ping the URLs or fetch metadata of said domains automatically/in the background to update the icons, website title, etc? It is always suspicious to find Microsoft Defender stating it blocks request to websites I haven't accessed in a while. So I'm trying to deduce if it is a feature and not a ghost in the wires...

Hi, a while ago I have set my browser homepage to have links to recently visited sites and pages and I had set a background too, but a few days ago it suddenly seemed to forget about all my search history and settings for some reason, as you can see in the screenshot below. This behavior does not happen with any other part/functionality of the browser. I don't really know what could be going on, so I'm reaching out here.

Firefox 146.0.1 (aarch64) macOS 26.2 (25C56) on M2 Pro

Hello.

I'm dealing with a strange issue that began with Firefox 146.0 and continues with 146.0.1. I previously blocked categories I do not care about such as Parenting, Cooking, and others. When doing so, for some reason some of my followed topics including Sports, NFL and NHL no longer appear along with the rest of the topics I've followed. (Please notice only followed sports-related topics disappeared...)

Checking the settings for Firefox Home shows no blocked topics (even those I have explicitly blocked), and checking what I can think to think via about:config shows me nothing I can edit to get my desired topics back.

So, I'm not sure what to edit to get my missing topics back. If they were blocked because of some bug, i cannot see blocked topics in the Firefox Home settings, so I cannot unblock them if that's what would need to be done. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, were you able to resolve it or are you aware of some BugZilla or GitHub issue I can watch for this one?

After the last Firefox update the Home Screen Short Cut List is populated with every link I access on the Web. I don't need a short cut to everything I might view in a days time. That's what my History list is for.

I'd like to have no news, people stories, nothing on my screen when I open my browser. Is that possible? I'm ready for the world to slow down and get more connected to nature. Thank you.

Each time I click a particular icon, it goes to a page to set up an account for that website. But I already have an account there. How can I change the icon to go to my account instead of the setup page?
