When I an issue where sending a tab from my android phone to a windows desktop opens the tab in a private window. This did not used to happen, and as far as I am aware I did not change any settings for this to happen. How do I stop this from happening?

Since the last update, some pictures do not show. For instance, in the News and Features Digest email that I receive, when I click on a headline to read article, any pictures do not show. It is just a big, blank, space. Also, for instance, some pictures on accuweather.com do not show, also on weatherbug.com. Even if I turn it off, the pictures do not show up. It seems the lastest update overwrote the shield in front of the address bar that I had set under Firefox settings, Privacy & Security, Enhanced Tracking Protection. I was able to turn off the shield and see what was being removed/blocked. Now that does not work. I understand you try to make Firefox as safe as possible by adding new features. However. I would like to remove whatever setting that shield has now installed with the latest update. I hope this makes sense.

Some URLs e.g. Costco.ca, amazon.ca etc will not load. I use FF and also have Chrome, Edge that have the same problem. One must assume that it is a settings problem with my Bosgame/Ryzen7 PC.

I am wondering if it is possibly caused by FF with all the safety build into it's design.? I have tried many items regarding the situation.

when I want to open a site from my email the tab shows app.getresponce up in the browser and on the page it shows 404 page does not exist. This happens when I open sites: X22 Report episode. It is all episodes like it is programmed not to work? Also LT And We Know. That site also says the same thing by showing app.getresponce up in the browser and on the page it shows 404 page does not exist.

Firefox was working fine yesterday morning. I went to log in last night and a new firefox background was there. NO bookmarks, NO history, No Nothing! How can I get my old information back?

did anyone else experienced a lot of problems after the latest update (149.0) has installed? I'm having a lot of trouble now:

1. The "New Tab" doesn't work at all, clicking on the plus does nothing, pressing ctrl + t does nothing aswell. 2. The search bar on home page doesn't work, I can't type anything in it 3. I tried to access settings, but the menu looks like on attached screenshot. I clicked on a spot where settings supposed to be, and nothing happened. Furthermore, all the menus look like this, they're simply empty, without any text. 4. Reinstalling didn't help. I want to try not to uninstall Firefox entirelly, because I don't want to risk losing all the saved bookmarks, history, passwords, etc. 5. So far I've experienced these problems on one computer, on the other everything looks fine, so it doesn't seem to be a global problem 6. Any ideas, apart from removing the browser and trying a fresh installation?

My Firefox browser is being redirected to Yahoo. I've tried all suggested fix solutions but no sucess. Ive unistalled and reinstalled Firefox but Yahoo redirect remains.

The same problem affected Chrome but I was able to reset the default to google and remove all the Yahoo serch engines from Chrome.

i need to change my settings so when information is auto filled i can see what is being fill in, it autofills the text is bright white and the background is a pale yellow how do i make it more visible ? my email is [edited email from community support forum]

I've used Firefox for years. Every couple years or so, without explanation, all my bookmarks disappear. I dutifully restore them and of course the favicons are all gone. I've finally had enough. I'm moving on. The inexplicable and sudden loss of bookmarks is bad enough, having to revisit every site to restore the favicon even worse. Sick of it, done with it, can't recommend it.

Every time I visit a website, it creates a shortcut on homepage, and Its annoying... 😖Please can Mozilla developers separate the "sites you save" and "sites you visit" under Shortcut option, I would be grateful.

Youtube is pretty much unusable for me after the newest update. It loads fine the first time after I open or restart Firefox but after than it slow down to a crawl and it takes minutes for anything to load when I click on videos and menu buttons. It's not my internet since the website works fine in other browsers and it also works fine in private mode in Firefox for some reason. I tried clearing caches, permissions and anything related to youtube in my Firefox profile folder. I also tried creating a new profile and it does the same thing. The only way for it to work normally is using private mode.
