I cannot display Amazon Deals properly that contain multiple he products. The home page and single products display normally. should be. A page with multiple products has large blank areas where the product should be. If I move the mouse over these spots, a soundless video will often display.

My clearing of the temporary cache files did not help. Stopping Ghostery doesn't help either. Other add-ons include Last Pass, Honey, Review Meta and Facebook Fences.

Help is appreciated.

My Mozilla Firefox bookmarks are Bookmarks 2025-07-22.JSON. They worked well on my older Dell computer. I bought a new Dell desktop computer. I am disgusted with Google. My bookmarks on my C Drive. If you can't help me reload those bookmarks, I may as well decide to delete Firefox and use another such as Total Browser. I certainly hope you will help me load 2025-07-22.JSON on my new computer - it is ridiculous that Firefox wants to put in the full address on the C Drive instead of simply loading those. On Firefox on my last computer I used News which was bookmarked Daily Wire, Epoch Times, Salem News Channel, God's World News, One America News, Washington Times, New York Sun, and local Sterling Virginia Weather. I also use biography sites https://www.Worldhistory.org and Britannica.com [both of which I pay for monthly, as https://www.wikipedia.org/. I also have a Biography folder with names from A to Z I also have many music folders 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, 1980s, 1990's, 2000s, Music group and singers A to Z, Blues music, Bluegrass, Christian Alternative Music, Country classic, Country & Western Gospel, Folk Singers, Jazz, Motown, Soul and many others which I have gathered over the past 10 years Respectfully by irritated and in pain Stephen P Ford, LTC USA Retired, Disabled Veteran [personal info removed for privacy]

Thank you for volunteering to help Firefox users.

For the past two days, Firefox has failed to load on the MacBook Pro laptop I purchased in June 2022.

When I open the laptop and click on the Firefox icon, a new, blank window tab opens. The tab says, simply: "New Tab." A black ball sways to the left of the words "New Tab," back and forth, left-right-left, endlessly. The window tab never loads a website, even when I type a website address into the address box or prompt box.

The failure first occurred about four days ago. After one day being unable to load Firefox, the next day I was able to, once again. Then, yeaterday and today, I have been unable to load websites and browse them using Firefox.

I am using macOS Sequoia 15.5. And I am using Firefox version 141 (aarch64).

Again, thank you for your assistance.

On Windows 11 Pro, with the promotional McAfee app already uninstalled, the Firefox browser persistently presents what amounts to a Pop-up advertisement in the form of a fake new tab that remains in the background, unseen and left open even after one closes the browser session. How can this phenomenon be permanently terminated?

2025.07.23 I have installed the update. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/july-22-2025-kb5062660-os-build-26100-4770-preview-9c5bc200-52b6-4c1a-be70-80df6bbfe9c3 Then the browser cannot start. It manifests as the browser freezing within 3 seconds after startup, showing no response, and then having to choose to exit. I tried to downgrade version 137.0.2, but the problem still persists. After uninstalling this update, the problem was resolved.

128.13.0esr This is probably a huge long shot I know, because every forum etc on the internet has nothing that ever helps with this, but as it only happens in FF I thought it was worth a try.

Yesterday I changed my Privacy settings to 'delete cookies when FF is closed' and added a few exceptions. Then this Google Search reCaptcha thing started. Changed it back to what it was, basically the default setting there, but it was still happening. It only happens in FF [doesn't happen with Edge] and only on one pc, all other pc's and phones in the house are fine [all using the same network, router etc]. So I uninstalled FF altogether, reinstalled it...this thing was still happening regardless of what settings I use re cookies etc. If I actually complete the super annoying reCaptcha it goes away for about 1 or 2 searches, then comes back.

If I'm signed in to a Google account it doesn't happen.

I even did a fresh Windows install [which actually fixed this the other time this was happening about 6 months ago] but that didn't fix it this time. There is no malware, no VPN, no extensions that I haven't been using for years. Nothing that could ever possibly be considered 'bot-like' behaviour.

Thanks

I just approved an upgrade to Firefox that mentioned something about a new way of dealing with extensions. The first thing I noticed was my 1Password add-on in the toobar disappeared. I took the steps recommended by 1Password to add it back, and I can get a 1Password icon to appear on the toolbar, but it is non-functional. I confirmed 1Password is still functional with an icon in the toolbars of my other browsers. What gives?

On certain web pages, there are scrollable containers (e.g., prompt cards in a prompt library) where the content overflows and should be scrollable with the mouse wheel when hovered. This works as expected in Chrome, Brave, and Edge browsers, but in Firefox, the mouse wheel does not scroll the content inside the container. This makes it impossible to access content that extends below the visible area.

Steps to Reproduce:

Go to a page with a scrollable container (e.g., a prompt library with cards that have overflow content).
Hover the mouse over the container.
Try to scroll using the mouse wheel.

Expected Result: The content inside the container should scroll up or down.

Actual Result: Nothing happens; the content does not scroll.

Tested on:

   Firefox version: 141.0
OS: Windows 10 and Also Linux Fadora

Works as expected on:

   Chrome
   Brave
   Edge

I would like to disable automatic session restore completely. When I restart my PC, crashes or anything like that, I do not want Firefox to restore my previously opened tabs or windows. When I open firefox after a system reboot / crash, I want to only open my default home page. Only if I manually click History > Restore Previous Session should firefox ever restore my session, otherwise never restore my sessions.

I tried unchecking Settings > Startup > Open previous windows and tabs, and also tried following this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1182594

My sessions still restores after my computer restarts or crashes.

Why do I want this? When I reboot my computer, I want a clean slate to start from scratch, not the dozens of pages (and other software) I had open from my previous session.

I am running linux mint btw.
