i noticed every websites that i visited or some links just suggested are appeared in my firefox homepage i selected only shortcuts in setting which i expect to see only shortcuts that i added manually but its just more shortcuts pop up each time i open the new window on my home page this is really annoying and , its not necessary at all , i dismissed them manually but they just pop up again please can you report this issue to be fixed on next release ?

Back again with another question related to flightrising

there are familiars displayed next to the dragons, some of them are supposed to change their pose automatically, but for me they only change when I click on the familiar it works on other browsers, and on firefox for windows, so I guess it's something in about:config, but I have no idea what I'm doing, so I'm hoping someone here can help me figure this out, because I'm not about to mess around randomly

Watching a CNN video on YouTube Firefox suddenly freezes and does not accept any further actions. Even shutting down it will block the process and I need to use the "Shut down anyway" function. Similarly, Thunderbird will lock up in the middle of writing a response, but here it is just the window and I lose what I typed, but I can go back and push "reply" again and retype the answer. Whether these are down to similar issues I don't know. Obviously, this sounds like a graphics driver, so I made sure all updates are installed and there is no further update available for both, Firefox and Thunderbird as well as the system drivers. When I start MF, all tabs I have used before open. Good! But one of these tabs are not in use. That it why I want to close it for ever.

The option to delete it for ever is not available.

It keeps telling me to use a different account and then says I used the wrong password but I didn't use the wrong one it just changed so many times I think I'm losing my mind

I'm trying to stream a show in the firefox browser and I am getting error saying the HLS is not up to date. I've checked my firefox is at the latest update, is this something you need to update on your end?

Is there anyway in the setting to stop a shortcut from being added every time I visit a site? I only want sortcuts that I use. I have attached a screenshot circling the ones that keep popping up as an example.

I have Firefox for Mac iOS, and want to turn on notifications for Microsoft Teams, but I do not want them to ever make sound. Like ever ever. I cannot figure out how to turn on banner notifications while keeping them quiet (they always appear in the top right, as requested, but make a dinging sound.) The notifications panel in my System Settings is grayed out, and isn't allowing me to make changes to it for some reason. How can I can allow notifications in Firefox while suppressing any and all sounds those notifications they make?

My password manager up until very recently let me sign into Rogers, the largest internet & webmail provider in Canada. Now the page does not fully come up, allowing one to sign in. Refreshing, rebooting & clearing cache helps not at all. It does work fine in edge however. It's an issue on your end.

Facing these issues on video/educational platforms other than YouTube. I am not facing either of these issues on other browsers like Microsoft Edge, on the same network. Please let me peacefully watch my educational videos, else I'll have to switch to other browsers and encourage others to do the same. I have a lot of respect for your open-source community-based browser, but such errors are causing intolerable pain. PLEASE RESOLVE ASAP.

just installed thunderbird on my new windows11 laptop and tried to add my comcast email account. i entered the email address and password and it sent me to a comcast web page to validate my email on imap.comcast.com. i am not on my home network so they sent a code to my phone which i entered successfully. it then asked for the address on my (comcast) account. i entered it and it told me it didn't recognize the address. I called comcast and finally got a human to talk with. we verified that my comcast account was set to allow third party access to my email. that's all the help she could give. i've run thunderbird on my windows 10 desktop with my comcast email for years with no problem. Has anyone encountered this problem?

Using firefox 148, when I select the "CIRA Canadian shield" DNS over HTTPS option it does not work. If I select the other 2 options Cloudflare or NextDNS those options work.

I chose the product (advertised as a discount), entered my bank details then instead of buying the product, I'm sent to a page where aside from just leaving the page, I find that i have to order 3 more of the same product, if I want to get the discount, so I exited the page, only to find that not only had I been charged for the original (without the discount!) but an additional charge had been taken!!!

Then I get a text message saying they couldn't connect to my email, so everything is done through texts (they had my email). When I went to their site they use a fake US phone number; there's no email, only a form (does it work?)

I have 18 shortcuts that I have added to the Firefox desktop, but every time I open a new link, a shortcut is added to the desktop. How do I keep these unwanted shortcuts from being added to my Firefox desktop?

I have left Shortcuts toggled on, since I want to see the 18 shortcuts that I have manually pinned. Fine so far.

I have unchecked Sponsored Shortcuts, but I still am seeing sponsored shortcuts. What am I doing wrong?
