scrambled bookmark tool bar

When I installed FF in Windows 8, my bookmark toolbar is scrambled. the text is off, sometimes showing a black line through the icons, some showing partial links. When my cursor goes over them, they reset back to normal but will go back after time.

hello, please try updating your graphics driver, or in case this doesn't solve the issue or there is no new version available at the moment, disable hardware acceleration in firefox > options > advanced > general.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.
