Thunderbird non si avvia

E' da giovedì scorso che Thunderbird mi da problemi durante l'avvio (vedi immagine allegata). Ho già provato a disinstallare e reinstallare.

Ovviamente anche provando a chiudere la task aperta nel gestione attività il programma non parte.

N.B: Provando ad aprire il programma nella modalità provvisoria, quindi tenendo premuto MAIUSC durante l'avvio, questo parte. Quando disattivo la modalità provvisoria però, non riparte più, neanche rimuovendo accelerazione hardware / componenti aggiuntivi e estensioni.

Se crei un nuovo profilo (https://support.mozilla.org/it/kb/utilizzare-piu-profili#w_creare-un-profilo) ed avvii Thunderbird con questo, cosa accade?
