i have been using firefox for 10+ years and ive never experienced this problem. im not sure what is causing it but im fairly certain it has something to do with firefox because my windows 10 computer is fast and responsive like normal up until i start firefox. it loads very slowly and makes everything else on my pc load just as slow, and everything continues to load very slowly even after i close firefox and end the processes. everything was fine on May 3rd, then out of nowhere this starts happening the next day. i tried refreshing firefox that didnt help. i tried a clean install of firefox . . it still slows everything down magically even after closing it

Hi, well it should not be slowing things down when closed. Check/Search for Task Manager and see if is running after closing. If so or just because please scan :

to be checked :

To check and to do : Please : go to the Firefox 3 Bar Menu --> Options --> Privacy & Security panel and under Permissions check (put a tick in the box) the setting to Prevent Accessibility Services from accessing your browser.

Please : Go to Options --> General --> Performance and untick everything. change the recommended size lower then see how it runs. Note: 1 = No Multiprocessor = slow again. Try 2 try higher /lower till find sweet spot. Restart Firefox after making these changes please.

Note : Acceleration is for your Video Card, monitor to see if need to turn back on.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance
