As it is taking time to load home page Yahoo.com and even some parts are missing. When I looked at the left bottom the yahoo address is different. Please refer screen shot also the empty space. What is happening lately in Firefox?

Any help will be appreciated.

Hello Ari94,

The host pr-apac.ybp.yahoo.com seems to be registered to yahoo according to

IP address: 106.10.193.45 Host name: pr-apac.ybp.yahoo.com Alias: pr.pbp.vip.sg3.yahoo.com pr-apac.ybp.yahoo.com 106.10.193.45 is from Singapore(SG) in region Southern and Eastern Asia

But the server(s) behind seems in timeout actually.

I think you will have the same result with any internet browser.

Hi, thank you very much for quick reply. I appreciate that very much.

Sorry, MS Internet Explorer is very quick to open Yahoo.com or even Yahoo.co.jp even MS IE do not show empty space like Firefox. I have also tried Firefox in safe mode but no avail.

Ari94,

Please check this link Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode

I suppose it's due to an add-on or theme, do you remember what did you install at last ?

Safe Mode is a special Firefox mode that can be used to troubleshoot and fix problems. Safe Mode temporarily turns off hardware acceleration, resets some settings, and disables add-ons that might be causing problems. By comparing Firefox behavior in normal mode to its behavior in Safe Mode you may be able to pinpoint the cause of the problem.
