When to set up recovery key?
I was reviewing my Firefox settings and see my "Recovery Key" button is not set... Do you set up the recovery key before you need it, so it's avail for future use? Or, just request one when you need it to reset your account?

You need to acquire a recovery key beforehand. If you wait until you need it then you won't be able to generate such a key because you need access to the Firefox Account to be able to get one and that isn't possible.
You need to store the recovery key in a safe place to be able to use it when you forget the password and require access to Sync, but why not save your password instead in that safe place as that sounds a lot easier to me (in both cases you need to safe something and the recovery key is quite long) ?
