When using shift+tab or ctrl+shift+tab to cycle between tabs in a window, firefox will occasional skip across one or multiple tabs. This will also happen when clicking tabs directly with the mouse. The tab that should be selected shows briefly before the browser automatically switches to one of the adjacent tabs. I do not have the setting "Ctrl+Tab cycles through tabs in recently used order" enabled. This doesn't happen for any specific tabs or windows consistently, and it doesn't specifically happen to unloaded tabs.

I am writing on behalf of myself and many users residing in Iran. As you are likely aware, our internet environment is severely restricted, with all major social media platforms and communication services being heavily filtered. Accessing the open internet is virtually impossible without a reliable VPN.

In light of these conditions, I kindly request that you consider increasing the current 50 GB monthly limit, if feasible. Even a temporary increase for users in Iran would be immensely appreciated and would significantly assist us in staying connected.

i have tried multiple extent ions to disable ai in the search box on Firefox an nothing works i still get ai. Again why does everyone think ai is so great. why again are people not given a choice like do you want or not want ai. HATE AI IN SAMSUNG GEMINI AND GOOGLE do not want ai anywhere ion my computer or i phone and please let me know if there is an addon or extensions in Firefox to not see it in my searches in google searches

Almost every time I launch Firefox, I'm interrupted by another update. Instead of getting straight to work, I have to deal with update downloads, installation prompts, or restart requests.

There is no reasonable way to disable this behavior. Even selecting "Check for updates, but let you choose to install them" doesn't help, because Firefox still interrupts me with update notifications.

Why can't users simply check for and install updates manually, without constant interruptions?

For a browser with such a small market share, Firefox is remarkably aggressive about imposing this intrusive UX on its users.

Please provide an option to completely disable automatic update checks and notifications. Let users decide when to update their own software.

Despite re-installing Firefox sidebar is still missing (I spent 3 full days trying to fix it before re-installing). I also can't obtain another tab - I'm restricted just to the one page I'm currently using

I dont want this profile feature at all it's a complete and total nuisance so I deleted the only profile it had for me but now everything but my bookmarks are gone and I need my settings restored. How do I completely disable this nuisance so I never have to see this annoying color bar in my application menu again? All my settings are destroyed now.

Firefox keeps crashing/hanging on startup. Any other browser I use is fine. Been using Firefox for years and would like to keep using it. This has been going on since August, so I have not really been using it since then. Tried all the troubleshoot steps that Mozilla recommends but still crashing e.g reinstall, fresh install.

Hi! I reached out on Friday and was sent a code that expired in 5 minutes, missed the deadline and had to leave the library. I updated Firefox to 155 and can't find my bookmarks. Also found that a Microsoft update included Goggle Chrome that I uninstalled. Please advise on getting my bookmarks back thank you. I only have 30 minutes left on line. The new update changed the Dark Mode Theme to include a color gradient on the tab row. This is quite distracting an I would like to know how to revert back to the plain, non color gradient Dark Mode Theme prior to the update.

The full error message is: "The procedure entry point ?WindowsBCryptinitialization@mozilla@@YA_NXZ could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\xul.dll."

After accepting that, I get another message that says: "Couldn't load XPCOM." Then, it just quits, with no Crash Reporter dialog.

I downloaded a fresh installer, but it takes a couple minutes to even launch, and then just sits there for a long time on the initial screen doing nothing before saying the installation failed. I've restarted my computer twice hoping it was a one-off issue, but there's no change.

According to the file information, xul.dll was last changed September 3rd, so it may not be the source of the issue. Perhaps whatever name mangling is responsible for the above entry point changed and now they don't match?

I have automatic updates set to "download but don't install", so it downloaded it a few days ago and I just restarted it this evening and the issue occurred. I could understand that maybe something got corrupted during the update, but I have no idea how the installer could also be failing.
