Hello,

Several e-commerce sites have forms for payment card details, and some of them have a field for ‘Name on Card’. Some sites fill in this field with what they think is the name on the card and, in my experience, it is often wrong. If the user deletes the mistaken value autofill will insert the correct name where it was, but, if the aberrant entry is left in place, autofill will not change it, and the payment can be refused. Would it be an idea to have autofill insert the correct name even if the field already has a value? If the value written by the site is correct then nothing is changed, but if it is wrong a refusal could be forestalled.

share.mozilla.com doesn't work for me when I select "Share" and honestly I don't think anyone gives an airborne intercourse what I bookmark. I just want it and its annoying green "New" box out of the menu, but I can't find a place in Settings to turn it off. An about:config setting, if anyone's found one yet, would be appreciated as well.

New (to me) issue, was not happening prior to system and browser updates. Using MacOS Tahoe 26.5.1 with Firefox Version 152.0.2 (64-bit), when I attempt to use keyboard shortcuts to copy paste into print dialogue (when I use Destination 'Save to pdf' and want to paste a file name I have copied), I get an error noise and no copy/paste happens. Using "right click" copy/paste is working properly (allows copy/paste of text into print dialog save to pdf name box). I have no custom keyboard settings for any apps and this issue is not occurring elsewhere in the browser (and is not occurring in other browsers). Have done the normal, updating OS and browser, used terminal to kill the clipboard and restart it, and restarted system and browser a couple of times. Would love to know if there is something I can do to fix this as I use this function frequently.

I awoke to find that Mozilla VPN had crashed and left my computer undisguised for an unknown period of time. Running in Ubuntu Studio. I have used other brand VPN that would lock the network connection completely if VPN failed. Why does Mozilla VPN not have lockout, or if it does why did it not engage? Thanks for your time.

Hi there. The past few weeks whenever I try to view any YouTube embed on any website I just get this error and the video does not play: Sign in to confirm that you're not a bot

Of course I am signed in but it does nothing. It works in other web browsers, just not Firefox. I've tried resetting my cache and cookies, private windows, and disabling all extensions but nothing seems to work.

Mozilla Firefox 45.x and above (PC):

Every time I attempt to log into X.com the Firefox browser stops working entirely. Dead. Nothing. Won't open or function. Need to restart my computer to access and use Firefox. This does not happen when I use Chrome.

because of my vision i use the contrast theme feature in win11. it works great except in my firefox browser 152.02. its dropdown menus are not in the contrast theme, therefore they are hard for me to read. is there a fix?

I don't know who was the absolute LOSER to have the idea of forcing updates while the user is still working on the browser by shutting the browser down. Can someone else help me understand how to stop this nonsense??

And yes, I had the option "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" selected, and I'm still being molested by this forced restart """feature"""!

Every time I'm in the middle of an important work session, Firefox will suddenly refuse to open new tabs and prevent the ones that are already open from connecting and receiving updates. It erase private tabs and messes up everything!

I was in a call with my boss, and it got dropped because Firefox decided to update?? And DEMANDED that I close the browser IMMEDIATELY to continue using it????? What the hell???????????

I've only been running into this problem in the past few months, and I'm honestly shocked by how little uproar I'm seeing online about this bug. This is by far the worst think I've ever seen in a browser.

Anyway, I appreciate any help. I saw a trick to permanently disable updates, but I don't want to disable them. I just want them to be installed either when I CHOOSE or when the bloody browser is NOT in use!

Tell me why they're trying to do this? I'm confused how. Firefox starts about 30 seonds later(Im viewing thru windows 10 filemanager) and stops google. I do not let google or edge start on boot. This only happens from wake after sleep. I believe only 5 or 6 days has this been happening. Any ideas?

Ever since the last update or two when I click on links to open websites, it renders a white screen and I see waiting at the bottom. It takes forever for websites to open. I have toggled acceleration on and off, disabled Windows 11 Efficiency Mode and nothing is working. I am a web developer and I really need websites to open. They open quickly in Chrome but not Firefox after the update and I may need to start using Chrome.

I have Firefox set to NOT update unless I tell it to. However, it still updates on its own without asking me if it should. So every time Firefox updates, I have to close the app and log back in to everything that I was using. Since, I use browser based software for work and need to open and close tabs pretty much all day. Thus, the ability to NOT update is actually fairly crucial to getting my work done.

I have read the Refresh Firefox instructions that appear in the "Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings" Firefox support webpage, including the "saved items" and "removed items" section.

Over time, I have made a number of changes in the "about:config" section of my Firefox browser.

Q: Would a Refresh of my Firefox browser affect any of these "about:config" changes?

Q: Is there a way that I can create a list of all "about:changes" that I have made?

On my wifes PC Firefox appears to be doing random things. First the screen turned pink, then the taskbar icon has a gear-wheel overlaying it, and she is unable to do anything, like logging into zoom. Google searches work but clicking on any link goes nowhere and just sits. Is there a way of returning to it's previous boring but appreciated habit of just working, without uninstalling and re-installing from scratch please? thanks (she is currently using our fallback laptop in her office so I can't access her pc for an hour or so.)
