cannot delete account; TB 24.5.0
tried Edit > Account Settings > Account Name Selected Remove Account not in menu; Delete doesn't work; Account Actions not in List

Account Actions is at the very bottom of the account list. It's there is in all Thunderbird installations. Scroll to the bottom of the list and look there.
