on my older MAC, Firefox stopped working on my wife's username but it works fine on my username

using MAC OS10.6.8 When she clicks on Firefox in the dock or in the Finder nothing happens ... there is no Firefox (Safari works fine though). This just started ... we've both been using Firefox for many years. When I log-in, I can click on Firefox in my dock (or in the Finder) and Firefox starts right up.
