Google maps hang "loading" in Android 4.2
Problem in google started recently. Google maps just hangs "loading...". Tried mobile version. Tried google "basic html". Cleared cache, history, etc. Disabled several addons. Found suggestion for activating develop options (xda-devalopers) and checked settings (ok). What else?

You should use the Google Maps application available for Android. Google maps online is not designed for use on mobile device.
Seems odd that Google services will not work but almost everything else does. I have the Firefox addon to always use Desktop version for everything since the screen size can certainly handle it. Plus desktop google maps has more functionality than the android app.
