My e-mails are crowded - almost merging 25 per page.
My e-mails are crowding (25 per page) each email slightly crowds the previous e-mail. This is when I am going through my mail. The "subject" is crowded.

Well, since I'm not sure what Email provider you are using, it is a bit hard to diagnose this problem, but you can read the Websites look wrong article, which provides some basic troubleshooting of this type of issue.
Also, please go ahead and update to Firefox 11, Firefox 8, which you are running is quite old and out of date with several known security holes and bugs.
Installed Firefox 11, but did not solve my subject headline cut off.

Did you happen to get a chance to read the websites look wrong article? I'm betting it will probably help your problem.
Try resetting your Zoom level
- Windows and Linux: CTRL+o (<-- that is a zero)
- MAC: CMD+o (<-- that is a zero)
