I have the latest Firefox and installed the latest Flashplayer from Adobe. After install the Adobe page tells me it has installed. Loading a movie on youtube I get "Flashplayer not installed".

I have uninstalled and installed Firefox I have uninstalled and installed Flashplayer

Nothing works

When loading the movie in Comodo Dragon (chrome) it works just fine.

Win XP 32bit AMD 1.8 Mhz 3Gb mem

The collected info by Mozilla below are not the problem machine

Did you install Flash 32 bit?

Yes i'ts a 32bit machine, why?

I asked that because FF on Win is 32 bit application and can handle only 32 bit plugins. Some users install only Flash 64 bit and no Flash application is visible. When you visit Adobe website to test Flash, do you get "Flashplayer not installed" too?

Hum, another issue I found with Flash objects: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=723154

Could you try to restart FF in safe mode and test on Youtube? (Windows+R > firefox.exe -safe-mode)

Tried it in Safe mode with and without plugins NO effect. Getting the frontend of the movie, click op the play arrow and get a black window with the text "get flashplayer". :(

When installed I get the Adobe page with "flashplayer is installed". When returning I get Install Flashplayer!?

Try a clean Flashplayer reinstall.

Download Flash uninstaller (32bit): http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/uninstall_flash_player_32bit.exe and apply it to uninstall all Flashplayer products in your OS.

Then download Flashplayer (32bit): http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/licensing/win/install_flash_player_11_plugin_32bit.exe and install it.
