How can I stop firefox from crashing when I try to print although this does not happen when i am using Internet explorer of outlok express?

every time I attempt to print from firefox it crashes and the "sorry" page comes up and firefox closes. I have no problem printing from outlook express or internet explorer. This has been happening for a few weeks, after two or three years of working properly. I am using a desktop with EP pro and a Dell A920 printer.
