After recent update to firefox 8 Forward & Reload do not work in W7 why is this?

After the latest update the other day Back/Forward/Reload/Stop would not work (we not highlighted) I went on your site and downloaded the latest version 8 and re-installed it. Now the Back & Stop are working but the Forward & Reload are NOT highlighted or working either on the top bar or the drop down menu. These operations are always used and therefore it is extremely frustrating when they do not. I have also tried to re-start both Firefox and the computer but it makes no difference.

What do I do?

Extensions that may interfere with Back Button, and these are already listed in Problematic extensions for other reasons

Back/Forward Home don't work in 7.0.1 due to network.http.max-connections being upped to 256, reduce back down to 32.

Back/Forward: navigation/buttons are disabled (repair with an extension)
