How do I remove a tab in Restore Session?
After Firefox crashes, I sometimes get a message that suggests removing one or more tabs to restore my session. I tried highlight > delete, which didn't work. I tried highlight > and toggled "restore" at the top of the column to remove the check mark, but that function is always frozen (so I wonder if it ever works for anyone). My only option is to start a new session.

You can double-click an entry on the about:sessionrestore page to toggle that entry on/off and to prevent that tab from opening.

If you get the about:sessionrestore window showing which tabs to restore then you can left-click an entry to remove the check mark if you do not want to restore that tab.
Set the pref browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes to 0 on the about:config page to get the about:sessionrestore page immediately with the first restart after a crash has occurred or the Task Manager was used to close Firefox.
That will allow you to deselect the tab(s) that you do not want to reopen, but will allow to reopen other tabs.

To open the about:config page, type about:config in the location (address) bar and press the "Enter" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.
You can use the Filter bar at to top of the about:config page to locate a pref more easily.
