I just spent a half hour updating my linked in site (new position) and it remained exactly the same, offering this "explanation": The server encountered an internal error () that prevented it from fulfilling this request. Apache Tomcat/6.0.24
When I submitted my new title and lengthy description and returned to original website, I found my old title and description, as was...with no change at all after I spent so much time, out of a busy afternoon, to update.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
