My home page does not have the 'File, Edit, Bookmarks, etc... across the top of the page. How do I restore those?

My Firefox start up page is incomplete. Usually across the top of the page there are the following: File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Window, Help. None of these are available on my home page. I have things like Most Visited, Getting Started, Latest Headlines. How do I get these features back?
