Ad Served by netbits keeps popping up

For months now I have had pop ups coming up even with the pop up blocker on. The popups always show ads and on the very top it says "Ad Served by Netbits"

They have become more and more common recently and have now even started making Firefox crash frequently (as many as 20 times per hour)

I have searched for "Netbits Contextual Tracking" on my computer because I have read that I should look for that and delete it but I have had no luck. I am about to switch to another browser, I really like Firefox but I just cant handle all the crashes and popups.

Any ideas?
