Wrt your problem, just because you're using the Thunderbird for Android email client doesn't mean you do have a thunderbird.com email address. Thunderbird the application (client) runs on your device to send, receive, sort and search your email messages, after you set up your existing email address(es) with an email provider such as Gmail, or Yahoo.
