All of my tabs disappeared the other day
I am wondering if there is a setting somewhere in Firefox to automatically close tabs after a certain length of time or after there are a certain number of tabs open. I did not close Firefox. I was working on a text document in TextEdit and when I returned to Firefox, all of my tabs were gone! How can I deisable that if there is such a setting? This is a very vexing problem. Please advise. Please forward this to a supervisor for a quick and complete response. The representative I chatted with earlier forwarded my inquiry to Apple Support for an expensive subscription, which I do not want. Thank you.

Hello,
There is no thing in firefox that clears tabs after a certain amount of time. Firstly, it could be caused by a shortcut which closed the window.
Second, if your mac ran low on RAM, the OS mightve cleared out the active memory in firefox.
Lastly, some extensions can have tab closing features.
Can you give me an idea which extensions might have tab-closing features so I can check for them and disable them? Thank you
Also, How would I prevent this from happening again? What shortcut, other than clicking on the red dot in the upper left corner of the window, would close the window?
