How would I start T0Bird and stop Yahoo?

Years ago I used Thunderbird and for some reason stopped. I have a vague memory that there was a problem either with T-Bird itself or my installation of it. Can I see a demonstration before I elect to install Thunderbird now?

At this point Thunderbird does not offer an email address, so you would have to continue to have a yahoo account that Thunderbird could use to collect your mail from. Or you could elect to create an account with another provider to have Thunderbird collect mail from.

As fort a demonstration. Install it. it is not as if it does anything to your existing account other than get your mails and sync the content with your existing account. Otherwise the best I can suggest is you have a look at some of the examples on the website. As Thunderbird is free and very customizable along with the fact that installing it is non destructive, I don't think anyone has ever seriously considered any sort of demonstration. It is more a try it and like it type thing.

Thanks. I'll just stay where I am.
