If that other browser the current version of Firefox, you should be able to create the same homepage there.

Thanks Paul - it's actually a Google Chrome browser which seems to work faster than my Firefox browser on one of my old laptops. I was hoping to be able to view the common Firefox homepage stories via the Chrome website, but couldn't figure out the webpage url.

You can’t really open the Firefox default homepage in another browser, because it’s an internal Firefox page. If you just want something similar, you can manually set a custom homepage with the sites you like, or use Firefox’s online start page alternatives.
