For years I have used Firefox to access my Bank of America online account. I am also using Quicken kinked to Bank of America. Today, when logged into bank of America, every action I take results in being sent back to the sign on screen. After clearing with Quicken Support as requested by BOA, I was directed to use a different browser which worked normally. I was told by BOA that the issue was with Firefox.

Hi,

We're sorry to hear that the page doesn't work as expected. In order to look for the root cause, please follow the steps below and provide us with more information to troubleshoot your issue.

  1. Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield Fx89ShieldIcon icon at the left of the address bar.
    • If ETP is enabled, try disabling it. Does the problem persist?
  2. If the problem is not fixed, try clearing Firefox cache. Does it help?
  3. If it does not help, also try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website). Does it help?
  4. If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. Does the problem persist?

Looking forward to your update!

denys, None of the actions seemed to work. When I hovered over each action that I might take I saw the "brain/redirect go?" as in the copied link below. Could this be part of the issue? ralph

rldj,

Could you please also try creating a new Firefox profile? After doing that as described in the article, consider setting your current profile as default again (as the default will switch to the newly created profile).

Does the problem persist in the new profile?
