Notifications about tabs sent from other devices don't open the pages

Sometimes notifications received on Android Firefox about the tabs sent from a desktop Firefox using "Send tab" function don't do anything when tapped. If the Firefox is open then tapping brings it to the front. If not, Firefox is started with the previously opened tabs but the page that was sent from another device is not opened. The URL is clearly visible in the notification but it is ignored. I have to type it in manually. This only happens occasionally, most of the time the notifications work as expected but when they don't it's a major frustration because there's no way to retrieve the URLs.
