How can I use a physical u2f key in Firefox preview?

On the regular release version of Firefox on Android, u2f is still disabled by default, but can be enabled (and generally seems to work) in the about:config settings. The about:config page is not available in Firefox preview, but I would appreciate being able to login to websites that require u2f keys from Firefox preview some other way. Can this be enabled by default, or as a switch in Settings?

This is a known bug. about:config would not be a help here. It requires some additional work to make U2F work on Firefox Preview.

Apparently it is webauthn, not u2f. I would appreciate a response that included a link to the relevant issue. I was having trouble finding it before, but it seems to be included in this one: Issue 1340

Hi

Yes that appears to be the issue that is currently being worked on. Hopefully this will land in a future update of Firefox Preview.

The about:config page is available in Firefox preview nightly for developers ...I am using it as a general browser and works fine...also you will get taste of the new features Try it once
