We used to be able to copy the contents of the address bar and paste elsewhere. Now it appears to copy, but when one pastes, there is nothing. At which point I remember this is Firefox on iOS and I have to go back to the browser and click the 3 little dots and then click copy address and then paste it. It would be more user friendly if it would just work like the other browsers, and like firefox on desktop , where the standard copy & paste works. Paste from elsewhere into address bar works, but copy and paste from the Firefox ios address bar does not.

I can't replicate this on my Firefox IOS and wasn't able to find any bugs related to it on bugzilla. Maybe try uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and see if that resolves it. Very strange bug.

Thanks, should have thought of reinstalling it Somehow I thought it was deliberate 'feature'.
