I have a problem with sync. I have thunderbird set up on my desktop and my laptop. It is an imap account. When I delete an inbox message on my desktop, it does not delete the message from the laptop.

If I send a message from desktop, should it also appear in my laptop?

Does the inbox folder synchronize after you have closed down Thunderbird on your desktop?

To answer your question: yes, it should appear as soon as the folder content is synchronized.
