Tranfer mail data from Windows to Mac

I am trying to follow the guidelines of moving the Profile and the underlying structure for my Windows environment to the Mac. When I get to the Mac, I cannot find the INI File to reset the profile being used. How does the INI file get created for the Mac?

Does it make sense at all rename the Profile to the that is already in place?

in your circumstance I would suggest placing the windows data into the mac profile so that files are replaced.
