Messages display as blocks of code, after search on sender name

I searched on a name to locate a group of emails from that name. Found emails. When I clicked on display as list for one of the emails to see the content and attachment, I get blocks of code. Do not see attachment.

sounds like at least one of your folders has a bad index. Right click the folder, select properties and then repair.

In your search results list. Rght click the headings and add the folder as a heading to determine which folder needs fixing if you don't know.
