How do I bookmark a site on my Android phone

I've looked all over the phone menus, etc. and all thru Firefox support. I can't figure out how to bookmark a site in Firefox Android mobile

Select the 3 dot menu in the upper right or your phone's menu button. Press the star button in the menu.
