Firefox for Android’s menu gives you faster, easier access to essential features. With its design, you can start a new session, manage your Mozilla account, customize tools, or save your favorite websites from one place without disrupting the browsing experience.
Starting in Firefox for Android version 141, the menu will appear automatically once you update the browser.

Start a new session with the redesigned homepage
The updated homepage acts as a central hub for your browsing. Tap the Homepage icon to access features like:
- Bookmarks
- Browsing history
- Downloads
- Saved passwords
- Sync options
- Settings
Use the website menu
Tap the menu button 
at the bottom of the screen to open the website menu. This menu expands as you scroll, revealing more options without switching screens. Tap to reveal additional actions.
Features in this menu include:
- Bookmark page
- Find in page
- Desktop site
- Extensions
- More (it will expand as you tap it)
- Translate page: Translates the current page into your preferred language.
- Report broken site: Quickly notify Mozilla of issues.
- Add to shortcuts: Access your favorite sites directly from the Firefox homepage.
- Add to Home screen: Pin sites for one-tap access from your device’s Home screen.
- Save to collection: Organize sites into specific categories.
- Open in: Open the page in its original app (such as Reddit).
- Save as PDF: Download the page in PDF format for later use.
- Print: Print content from the page on the nearest printer.
Similar to the homepage menu, the redesigned website menu also allows you to access bookmarks, history, downloads and passwords.
Add and manage extensions
The new website menu greatly improves the way you can add extensions in Firefox for Android by letting you access them without leaving the current page.
By tapping on the Extensions button, you can get an overview of all the extensions you currently have installed. If you haven’t installed any, Firefox will suggest several extensions that you can add and enable right away.
The Extensions panel will also allow you to:
- Manage extensions: The panel will take you back to the dedicated Extensions page for more advanced options.
- Discover more extensions: Firefox will suggest additional extensions that you can add to the browser.

Do I need to enable the new Firefox for Android menu?
No. The menu is automatically included in versions 141 and up (general release).
Can I switch back to the old menu design?
No. The updated menu replaces the previous version and can’t be reverted.
Will I lose my bookmarks or browsing data?
No. All your data – bookmarks, saved sites, history and logins – will remain available when you sign in.
