Firefox 23 is crashing frequently on windows 7
Here are my last 5 crash ids:

This appears to be happening more often after updating to 23, and also updating windows. I am not certain if this has any bearing

Hello,
Try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe Mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most add-ons.
(If you're not using it, switch to the Default theme.)
- You can open Firefox 4.0+ in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you open the Firefox desktop or Start menu shortcut.
- Or open the Help menu and click on the Restart with Add-ons Disabled... menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, just select "'Start in Safe Mode"
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. Please follow the Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems article for that.
To exit the Firefox Safe Mode, just close Firefox and wait a few seconds before opening Firefox for normal use again.
When you figure out what's causing your issues, please let us know. It might help other users who have the same problem.

One of those crash signatures that may be generated in multiple situations.
- Does it happen when FlashPlayer is in use or video content is included in an open tab ?
- How frequent are the crashes ? (every hour|day|month ?)
- Are they associated with any particular website being open ?
- As a test disable Flash Player does it then not crash ?
- If Flash Player is implicated try
- disabling hardware accelertion
- disabling Flash Players protectedmode

- Do you use Whitesky's ID Vault at alll hat was associated with the crash signature
- Try using Firefox in Safe mode and with all plugins disabled if it still crashes then please paste a couple of the new crash ID s into your next post.

I had the same problem when opening Firefox this morning. It would just hang and not respond. If you have Yahoo toolbar try disabling that first.
Norton showed a pop up last night saying that Yahoo updater was safe so I knew Yahoo toolbar was updating and this morning I have the problem.
Thanks for the Safemode instruction Waka. I knew I needed to disable the Yahoo toolbar but Firefox didn't respond once I opened it.
I disabled the Yahoo toolbar in Safemode and Firefox opened normally again.

Thanks All! I greatly appreciate your help.
I went into safe mode, and had no crashes. So I removed many add-on extensions, and so far, so good. I will continue to report if there are any more issues. I only left on firebug, firefox http, and on other add on.

Glad it is working again, and thanks for posting back.
Possibly you will be reinstalling at least some of the addons should you get crashes again please post back in this thread again (Or mention it if it is closed by then ) Possibly you will discover the addon causing the crash as you reinstall them.
