Thanks but just ran tuneup utilities 2012 free 15 day trial and it fixed it , must have been some registry issue.

It kinda looks like you have a malware infection that is causing the crashes.
You can try some of the following programs to scan for malware:
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Microsoft Security Essentials (A good permanent anti-virus if you don't already have one)
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

MalewareBytes found nothing, Mcafee found nothing.
Try to Reset Firefox
To Reset Firefox do the following:
- Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
- Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
- Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
- Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.
Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Tried that, still not fixed.
Tried safe mode as well. Just started yesterday.
Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date. To do this, go to the Mozilla Plugin Check site.
Once you're there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions. If you see plugins in the list that have a yellow Update button or a red Update now button, please update these immediately.
To do so, please click each red or yellow button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps mentioned in the installation procedure.
Did and they are.
I even have latest Java
All crashes have this signature: [@ xvqrkfzsmsdo.dat@0x7770 ]
So you need to find the location and origin of that file and remove the offending application (malware).
If using various malware scanners does not fix it or if you are blocked from installing those scanners then ask advice at a forum that specializes in malware removal.
