ever since i updated to the latest version of firefox, 2 out of 3 times, i get directed to a web page automatically.

This never happened before and does not ever happen on explorer.  please help, i hate explorer and dont want to go back to.  thank you

I had the same problem, but on Opera... Are you a mouse, if yes, dont click on the middle button (on black places) (U CAN STILL SCROLL) and you should be fine. =d

This issue is caused by the QuestScan extension (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions).

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
