I found a dozen articles saying the popup asking if password should be saved can be disabled by clicking the dropdown button on the box asking the question.

I am unable to find the drop down arrow. Picture is below.

Any suggestions or information for resolving this would be appreciated immensely.

twist: I want to continue saving the passwords already saved for certain domains, but I need to not be asked about saving others The reason I have multiple usernames/passwords at some domains is I do development work on them, and have a few accounts I use repeatedly. I also make new accounts frequently on these sites, for testing the signup process. That pop up asking about the passwords is a pain in that situation.

Thank you.

If there is a password already recorded for that website, the Password Manager should not ask unless you changed it during login.

Type about:preferences#security<enter> in the address bar. Look under Logins,

Note: For Firefox v56+ its; about:preferences#privacy Look under Forms & Passwords +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Turn on Remember Logins. To check the passwords you have listed, press Saved Logins.

Press the Exceptions button and see what's inside.
