new version sucks
I recently got an email asking me to rate FireFox. However, the link takes me to a page that says "you have to update your firefox to take survey."
I do not want to update my firefox. The "newest" "Best!" version sucks. I have determined that I will no longer update my firefox. you guys dropped the ball and now I have to use some outdated version because the new one has been deemed unusable by me.
So here is my rating. ZERO!
Should you, in your infinite wisdom, conclude that my outdated version can no longer be used, I will of course gladly stop using firefox. There are plenty of other browsers out there. Way to go dummies!
Please pass these comments on to the proper people who asked for a survey in the first place.

The newest firefox includes lots of performance improvements. The version you are using probably contains security vulnerabilities that are fixed either in ESR or the stable release. If you want a version that updates at a much lower pace but provides security updates you should try Firefox ESR.

On Mac OS X 10.6 the Firefox 45.9.0 ESR version is still the best choice, so as you wrote there is no need to update.
