Last Thursday we (we have separate profiles) used Thunderbird as usual but, later in the day, our profiles had disappeared and been replaced by a single profile named 'default'. If we click on 'default' it asks us if we want to create profiles. We don't! We want to retrieve them. someone has kindly sent some instructions and I've followed them for the first 2 or three stages to where it says something like 'find your profile in the list', but I couldn't see anything in the list that I could recognise - probably because I simply don't understand all the abbreviations. I've just looked at the article again, but can't even find the link to the instructions to try again. We've phoned 2 people who advertise that they can sort out computer problems. One didn't answer the phone message at all; the other asked the problem, said he'd phone us back and never did. Help, please!
